Paparazzi does not have catalogs because we have new pieces practically every single day.  This makes it pretty much impossible for a catalog. It also gives us a unique business that no other company offers!! So a great option is putting together what we call a "Basket Party" for a hostess.

Basket parties are really quite simple and a great way to make money while doing very little "work" (much like a "catalog party") and allowing your hostess the flexibility of hosting without the "official home party", opening her home, before and after "clean-up", etc. It's a win-win-win for everyone!!

Simply put about 100 pieces in containers of your choice, give it to your hostess, sign the "party contract" and set a time to pick it back up from her with any remaining jewelry and the money collected.
Here are details to help you decide how you want to setup your own basket parties.
Basket or Bag Parties
1. There is no right or wrong way to put together a "basket" party. Example photos here show of a variety of ways to carry the pieces.  Choose what works best for you. Some ideas include
     - Oatmeal containers or wine boxes for necklaces.
     - Plastic containers with lids from dollar stores to separate each group of jewelry.
     - Ring binders from office supply stores for rings, bracelets or earrings.
     - Folder containing bags for purchases, business cards, party information.

2. Follow the hostess coaching to help your hostess be excited, get her choice of free jewelry and share it with everyone for maximum sales for her.

3. The hostess would simply take the "basket-o-bling" with her everywhere sharing it with everyone (usually for about a week).  She can visit with family, neighbors, groups, co-workers, kids teachers or at their children's activities such as dance class, baseball games or football practice.  And its not limited to women at these locations because of course men can purchase gifts for their wives, mothers, aunts, etc. as well and you can include the unisex urban pieces great for everyone!

4. As always, being a hostess is not only getting free pieces, but let her select her choices FIRST. These become an incentive for her to sell whatever is necessary to get all of her selections FREE!

5. Stay in constant contact with the hostess during the week to see if she has questions or needs additional jewelry added to her "basket".  If so, you can meet up to add more items. (Don't forget to update the contract.)

6. Make sure you have a way to accept debit or credit cards. You can have her call you and take a card number over the phone for example.

7. Sometimes a hostess may want to keep the basket longer than a week which is a decision you can both make together.

8. Once the time frame you've agreed upon is up, you'll meet up to collect the basket, unsold jewelry and money for the items sold. The hostess of course will keep her free jewelry she selected and possibly purchase more herself as well.

Done!  Easy Peasy!

Additional Tips & Ideas:

* It is important that you use the "Hostess Contract" and make sure the she knows that while she has the Basket Party, she is responsible for keeping it safe and taking good care of the items.  She's responsible for making sure nothing is broken or stolen. We don't like to think this could happen, but unfortunately, these things do happen. Better safe than sorry!

* Even though we do not have Paparazzi catalogs, you can create and include your own version of a "catalog" for customers to order from.
   - We have "Block Buster" pieces that are our best sellers that are almost always in stock
that are perfect for this option.
   - Order a "stock pile" of these for your inventory.
   - Print photos from the stock photos in the back office and put them in a cute photo album
     from Dollar Tree.
   - The customers can look through this "catalog" and choose the pieces they want and get
them from you when you meet up with the hostess later.

* With more inventory, you can have multiple basket parties out at any given time!

Edit the Contract with your detailed information (phone number, email, website, etc.
I send a manila envelope for collecting money and staple/tape this cover to the front to make things easy for the hostess.
For every party, setup a party through your website and share this with your hostess so her guests can order online nationwide.
