The wonderful thing about Paparazzi is that you can make all the money you want from simply sharing and selling gorgeous jewelry for only $5.00 each (plus tax) and making 45% profit! Consultants are making literally thousands every single month!
There are NO requirements to recruit or build a team!
However, most Consultants have people sign up with them because Paparazzi Accessories is so amazing, they want to be a part of it as well. As a sponsor, you then receive commissions from your team members.
An additional income just for working with team members and helping them do the same thing you do! Why not!!
If you are interested in building a team and reaching additional ranks in Paparazzi, here are some helpful tips. (Also, review the "Comp Plan" page to learn more about the compensation plan and percentage you would earn.)
1. Share your excitement! When others see how excited you are and how much fun you have making money, making friends and growing your own business from home they will become interested and want information.
2. When you have someone interested in information about becoming a Consultant, give (if in person) or mail them an information packet. The files I use are below. You can use these same files, just download them and make sure you change the lines with my name, etc. to yours!
3. Network with other vendors at events. Many are looking for a second business or even a new business. When they see everyone swarming to your event space and all leaving with those pink bags, they want to be a part of it too! Share your successes with them as the occasion arises.
4. Party hostesses (when coached and those who have successful parties) are perfect potential Consultants. They have learned what to do through your Hostess Coaching and they love the jewelry too. Let them know what a great job they did and how perfect they would be as a Consultant.
5. When doing a Facebook party, always have at least one post (sort of like a "commercial break") to let all those attending know about the opportunity and that they too could become a Consultant. You're doing them a disservice if you don't let them know.
6. Since we don't do "presentations" at home parties (the guests just pop in and shop during the party time), as you check out each guest and while you're bagging their items, ask them what they think about being a Consultant. This is also the time when you would ask if they want to host a party as well.
7. Don't EVER make assumptions about someone's interest in becoming a Consultant. You have no idea what may be going on in their lives so don't pre-judge. There are MANY reasons people want to sell Paparazzi!
- As a second source of income
- To be able to stay home with kids
- As a reason to get out of the house for "girls night" occasionally
- A new career
- For a "discount" of their own jewelry purchases
The main point is, you don't know what is going on in someone's personal life or their thoughts, so definitely never disqualify someone you don't "know"! And even with people you DO know, you can't read their minds or know what they may be considering for their future! They may have been considering becoming a Consultant since the first time they heard of Paparazzi!
8. Follow Up! Follow Up! Follow Up! Just because someone says "not right now" today does NOT mean that will be the same answer next week, next month or next year. It's statistically proven that most people do not make a decision like this until after 4-8 contacts on average and as many as 12 times. Make a notebook or file to keep track of everyone you've ever had contact with so you can continue to follow up with them on a regular basis until they tell you unequivocally "NO"!
- Contact an interested person 2 days after initially giving them info
- If its not a good time, ask when would be and make sure you contact
them at that time.
- After this, contact them within 2 weeks
- Then contact them monthly....EVERY month
The only reason you would deviate from this plan (monthly contact) is if they say "NO, they're not interested" or if they give you a specific time when they would like for you to contact them again. And when they do this, MAKE SURE YOU CONTACT THEM!!!
9. Attraction Marketing...whether you realize it or not, people ARE watching you and what you're doing. Share ALL you successes, no matter how large or small.
- if you take your "Bling Bag" with you to buy groceries, end up selling
$50 and it pays for your groceries, take a picture, post it on social media
and brag about it!
- If you sell $20 and put gas in your tank, take a picture doing it at the
gas station and share it.
- Tell your friends and family about all the times your profits have paid for
little things, big things, etc.
- For example, from a small event I did this past weekend, my profits
paid this week for a doctor visit co-pay, prescription co-pay, filled my car
with gas, bought groceries, took my husband to lunch and more! That's
multiple opportunities to share this awesome business and create
interest by "attracting" people through my social media posts. That's a
part of "attraction marketing"!!
10. Attraction Marketing Part 2: Building Relationships! Whether it is through social media or in person, an important part of sales OR team building is meeting new people on a regular basis, building relationships with them and not JUST being "salesy" all the time. Would you meet someone and the first thing you say is "buy my stuff"? Or you reconnect with an old high school or college friend and without "catching up", you just start pushing your business on them? NO! Of course you wouldn't! At least I hope not! Because those are the things that give our "direct sales industry" a "bad name" of being pushy and salesy and just plain "YUCK!"....so just be yourself! Get to know people and you'll get to know how you can HELP them! You are HELPING people, whether its through offering them a way to look and feel great wearing Paparazzi as your customer one day or helping them build a business as your team member eventually. But unless they ask you for certain information, just get to know them or catch up and build those relationships and eventually, if the opportunity arises, I'm sure a time will come up to talk about Paparazzi when the time is RIGHT!
