First and foremost....you are NEVER alone! You have your sponsor, me and an entire Paparazzi family of support, so please don't ever hesitate to reach out, ask a question or ask for advice on anything at all! We ALL started right where you are!
1. Tell Everyone the EXCITING News!! Share with everyone you know that you've just started your own business where they can get stylish, fun, fashionable jewelry for only $5!! Share your EXCITEMENT!! You immediately have your FREE website to share too!!
You'll receive a welcome email from corporate with your new consultant ID, your links to login & more information. Most exciting is it also contains photos of what should be arriving soon in your kit. Click HERE for a video to learn more. -------->
2. Website: Personalize your website with your photo and a little information about yourself so everyone will know who you are and that it is your website. A website with your personal information is much more likely to have shoppers than one with no picture or anything.
- Click here to see a video on how to login to your "back office" for the first time.
HERE is the link where you login directly to your back office.
- Click HERE to see how to update your picture on your website -------->
- Click HERE for a short video on updating your "story" on your website -------->
3. Business Name: Decide on your "business name". For example, "Paparazzi Accessories by Sherry", "Terri's Treasures" or "Julie's Jewels". It's up to you! It should be unique and reflect who YOU are. Just make sure if you use "Paparazzi Accessories", you include your name/biz name along with it so its not confused with corporate.
4. Social Media is HUGE in promoting your new business. Use your business name you decide upon to create a unique email for your business. I would suggest using the same name across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest & YouTube to begin to build YOUR brand. If you need help setting up a business page or sales group on Facebook, click on either of those highlighted links to see a short video on each.
5. Business Cards: You can go through www.paparazzitools.com (which is through www.VistaPrint.com) or you can create your own. Just make sure you include your name, contact information (phone & email), your website, consultant id and any other social media or contact info you wish to share.
- You can download the Paparazzi Accessories logo from the "Back Office" under the Resources
tab. HERE is a video showing you where to find it, as well as other Resources.
- There are no restrictions on "colors" or "styles"...make it your own! Just make sure if you use the
Paparazzi logo, it is the one allowed with "Independent Consultant" included.
- Of course, you can have business cards printed anywhere you choose. Look for
specials/discounts, search online or check with your local office supply stores.
**Side note: Initially, you might also consider printing your own business cards.
(That's what I did because I didn't plan ahead and found an event to do the day
after my kit arrived.) Just have something with your information to hand out to
customers and everyone you know/meet who may be interested in Paparazzi.
6. Support/Contact: We have multiple support groups on Facebook to help you with your business as well. It's a place to ask questions and share information. If you haven't already been added, email me to add you to our "Paparazzified Divas" team page on Facebook.
When you have questions, first attempt to contact your sponsor or me, but if you need to reach Paparazzi corporate, here is their information:
Phone: 1-855-697-2727
Email: support@paparazziaccessories.com
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time
7. "Lingo": There are a few words, phrases or acronyms you'll see that may initially be confusing, so here are some to help you along:
- BO: Back Office - where you login with your consultant id and password to order
jewelry & supplies, access business resources & training, see updates from
corporate, check your commission and more.
- BOA or "Back Office Alert" - We have new jewelry available usually every Monday through
Friday and sometimes those pieces sell out quick! So (on our team FB page), we make a post
letting you know so you can shop for your own inventory or share with your customers so they
can shop from your website and get the latest pieces!
- FF: Fashion Fix - monthly trend blend exclusive jewelry
- SS: Starlet Shimmer - Jewelry for little girls only available through consultants
- Hostess Rewards: (1) Party Hostesses receive 10% of the party sales as free hostess rewards.
This means for every 10 pieces sold during a party, the Hostess gets 1 free piece!
(2) For every 10 pieces we order from Paparazzi for our inventory, they GIVE us 1 free piece
(or hostess reward) FREE! These can be included in your sales or given away. (I suggest
ordering in multiples of 10 to always get those free pieces! So if you have an order with 38
pieces for example, select 2 more to get 40 total and get that additional free piece!)
- PV: Personal Volume - Each adult piece of jewelry = 2 pv (explained more later
along with the Compensation Plan)
- GV: Group Volume - The volume of your team members
- OV: Overall Volume - same as Group Volume
- HO: Home Office or Corporate Office of Paparazzi
- Upline: Your Sponsor & Leaders above your Sponsor
- Downline: Everyone on YOUR team
8. Subscribe! You want to connect with Paparazzi Accessories corporate pages to stay up-to-date on specials, learn and there is also TONS of previous training you can review as you go too!!
You can also connect on Periscope, Twitter, Instagram & Snapchat too!
9. Accepting Payments: Regardless of how, where or when you sell Paparazzi, you'll want to be able to accept debit & credit cards. We'll talk in more detail on our "Selling & Events" pages, but the 2 most popular options are PayPal & Square. They are both free to get started, but just charge a fee on each transaction. There are pros & cons to both or you may find another option better for you. Either way, its best to set that up right away.
10. Displays: You'll want to figure out now how you want to display your jewelry now, while you're waiting for your starter kit to arrive. That way, as soon as it arrives, you're ready to go! The next page (Displays) has TONS of ideas to help you get started.
